Under Armour is seeking a Logistics Budget & Projects Coordinator to join a dedicated, energetic, results-oriented team. In this position you will be responsible to create visibility and monitor logistics costs throughout the supply chain. Next to that you will work on improvement projects as well internally in the organization as externally with the 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) partner.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the logistic budget by keeping track of all related invoices (warehouse/freight/customs etc.)
  • Create and adapt logistic cost forecasts on a monthly, yearly and 3-year plan and monitor forecast accuracy
  • Check correctness of invoices and follow up internally / externally on discrepancies or highlight and investigate any deviations from forecasts
  • Work closely with finance department for logistics cost forecast alignment
  • Work closely with internal departments (Retail/E-Commerce/Account Operations) to validate forecast accuracy on a monthly basis
  • Suggest, initiate and lead projects /improvements that elevate service levels and/or drive costs down
  • Be central contact for Account Operations for any specific customer business change requests that have to be developed in cooperation with the 3PL
  • Time flexible spend between both Amsterdam office and Warehouse located in Venlo

CRITICAL SKILLS                                                                   

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Team player and social
  • Proactive and pragmatic
  • Be able to interact and communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with our 3PL partners
  • Capable of handling several tasks simultaneously and set priorities
  • Able to perform under stress/peak times
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written)
  • Able to work in rapidly moving environment

EDUCATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor minimum or master’s degree. Ideally in Logistics/Business/Supply Chain with a strong affinition to Finance/Forecasting, or the other way around
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Very analytical and strong forecasting skills
  • Highly Skilled in MS Office, especially advanced Excel
  • WMS knowledge (Red Prairie) and SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Driving license
  • Fluent in English
